YAREN works with refugees and vulnerable host community members in Uganda. Our programmes focus especially on young people, women and families who are working toward safer, more self reliant futures.

Support is shaped around practical community needs, including skills, livelihoods, education, wellbeing and community resilience.

YAREN offers practical learning in areas such as computer literacy, English, programming and digital skills, vocational skills, entrepreneurship, leadership, psychosocial support and climate resilience.

Availability can change between intakes. Visit the programmes page to see which programmes are open for applications.

Open the programme application page and select “Open application form”. Fill in the Google Form, choose the programme you want and press Submit.

YAREN is based in Ndejje Kanaaba, Makindye Ssabagabo, Kampala, Uganda. We work with refugee and host communities in Kampala and other locations through programmes and partnerships.
